Set in 80,000m² of landscaped gardens, this 5-star hotel includes 4 pools and 4 restaurants, located on a 500-metres long sandy beach. Just a 10-minute drive from Rethymnon Old Town, Aquila Rithymna Beach offers extensive children’s facilities.

Aquila Rithymna Beach offers classically decorated rooms and bungalows. Each with a sea or garden view, all air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, bathrobes and slippers, as well as beach towels and a beach bag.

Guests can enjoy à la carte lunch at Mournies tavern, resting under the shade of mulberry trees, or try gourmet dishes at the Ancient Eleftherna restaurant. There is also a typical Greek Kafeneion serving traditional beverages and meze, as well as a lounge bar and a beach bar.

Rithymna Beach features 5 tennis courts including 2 floodlit courts. Guests can also take diving lessons and there is also a water sports centre with jet skis, canoes and water skiing.

A tennis court for children is available and tennis lessons are provided. The hotel’s animation team organizes theatre plays and a variety of activities, and a children’s restaurant is also featured.

The neighbouring settlements of Adele, Aghia Paraskevi and Platanias are walking distance. Rethymnon is only 7 km away, while Chania and Heraklion are 66 and 72 km respectively.

Aquila Rithymna Beach

Located 700 metres from the beach of Orthi Ammos, Captain Tom is set amidst a large garden with swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace. Its studios and apartments enjoy free WiFi access.

The air-conditioned studios and apartments at Captain Tom are spacious each with a private balcony with sun shades. They include a kitchenette with a fridge, a 42", flat-screen, satellite TV and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

Guests can relax on the sun beds by the swimming pool or enjoy a coffee, continental breakfast or various snacks on request.

Within only 1 km, you can visit the Venetian castle of Fragocastello which dates back to the 14th century. The town of Rethymno is 52 km away. Free parking is available near the premises.

Captain Tom

The family run Aloni Suites lie in Chorafakia village, in the peninsula of Akrotiri with distant views of the sea and spectacular sunsets. Tersanas Beach is 1 km away and Stavros Beach is 1.5 km away.

The Aloni Suites offer spacious apartments, each containing kitchen, living room and bathroom. Standard amenities include a telephone, TV and air conditioning.

In addition to the main swimming pool and adjoining children’s pool there is an indoor complex containing heated swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, gymnasium and billiards’ room.

Traditional home cooked meals and refreshing drinks are served at the on-site poolside bar.

Supermarkets and taverns can be found a 5-minute drive away and Kalathas Beach is at a distance of 2 km. The area features sites of historical and religious interest, monasteries and caves and wonderful walking paths. Aloni Suites are located 7km from the airport, 12 km from Chania and 15 km from the port of Suda.

Aloni Suites

Located just 100 metres from Tarsanas sandy beach, Alianthos Suites offers self-catered units built within a beautiful garden. It has a swimming pool and a private bay overlooking the Cretan Sea.

Alianthos features spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with balconies or verandas enjoying sea or garden views. They all have a well equipped kitchen with dining area. Other in-room facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV and safety box.

At the swimming pool area, surrounded by the hotel’s gardens, guests can find sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a pool bar serving snacks and refreshing beverages.

The more active guests will find a tennis court located right next to the sea. Alianthos Suites also features a children’s playground and BBQ facilities.

Alianthos hotel offers Wi-Fi access and free private on-site parking. Chania airport is a 10-minute drive away and Souda Port is a 15-minute drive. The town of Chania is at 13 km.

The family-run Mythos Apartments is 50 metres from the beach of Damnoni. It offers self-catering rooms with furnished balcony.

The air-conditioned units have a dining table and a sofa. Kitchenette equipment includes a fridge, sandwich maker, coffee maker and kettle. A hairdryer and a satellite TV are also provided.

The beaches of Plakias, Souda and Preveli are reached within a 5-minute drive. Mythos Apartments is 1 km from Plakias centre and 30 km from the port of Rethymnon.

Guests can prepare their own meals, or take their breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel’s seaside restaurant, while enjoying the view of the sea.
